I've worked with Colin and the Sauce Asia team for over five years, using them to help us source and manufacture products in China, and I genuinely couldn't recommend them highly enough. I've also travelled to China with Colin and his team numerous times to visit manufacturers and factories. The organisation is exceptional. They plan the factory visits, travel and meetings and make sure we're meeting the right Chinese manufacturers for what we're trying to produce. Having experienced people on the ground in China makes the whole sourcing process considerably easier. The China team are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Mike in particular is one of the nicest and most experienced people I've met in China, and his understanding of Chinese manufacturing, factories and suppliers is invaluable. The products we've sourced through Sauce Asia have consistently been of excellent quality. Their involvement doesn't stop once the factory has been found either. They've supported us throughout manufacturing, quality control, shipping and logistics, as well as dealing with any after-sales issues. I first got to know Colin and Sauce Asia through business, but after many years of working together and several trips to China, the relationship has become much more than simply dealing with a sourcing company. Running RealMæglerne in Denmark, when we've had products that we've wanted to develop or manufacture in China, Colin has been the person I've turned to. What I particularly appreciate is that he'll tell you what he thinks rather than simply agreeing with everything. If something isn't right, a supplier isn't suitable or there's a better way of doing something, he'll say so. Travelling in China with the Sauce Asia team also gives you a completely different perspective. Everything is organised and you have people alongside you who understand the factories, the suppliers and how business actually works in China. Instead of arriving as another overseas buyer, you're visiting manufacturers with people who already know the market and know what questions need to be asked. Mike deserves a special mention. His knowledge of China and manufacturing is remarkable, but he's also simply a wonderful person to spend time with. We've shared plenty of meals and laughs over the years and become genuine friends, which says a lot about the relationship we have with the Sauce Asia team. Most importantly, we've always been happy with what Sauce Asia has delivered for us. They've been there when we've needed them, whether that's finding the right manufacturer, developing a product, checking production or getting goods out of China and delivered to us.
